York

York is one of the original horses that inspired the creation of Picky Pony. He played an important role in helping us find solutions to the challenges of masking the taste of supplements that horses may find unpalatable—particularly joint support formulas.

Before Picky Pony, York was selective about his feed when supplements were added. After introducing our product, he quickly became more enthusiastic at mealtime and began looking forward to breakfast and dinner again.

York’s positive response helped confirm the need for effective solutions that make equine supplements more appealing, and he remains an important part of the story behind Picky Pony’s inspiration and development.

Snip

Snip served as a key Picky Pony inspiration. He frequently turned away from grain when horse supplement solutions were added, primarily due to their taste. However, once Picky Pony was blended into his feed, his appetite returned, and he started eating more consistently and eagerly during mealtimes.

Champ

Champ suffered a significant neck injury that required stitches and a course of antibiotics. Administering his medication was a challenge, as he refused to take pills. When his veterinarian suggested mixing the medication with water over his grain, he stopped eating altogether.

In response, Lisa was inspired to develop an early batch of Picky Pony, a horse supplement solution designed to improve palatability. Once the antibiotics were blended with Picky Pony and added to his feed, Champ eagerly accepted his meals without any hesitation.

Champ’s recovery became much more manageable, transforming what was once a difficult daily routine into a simple feeding process. Today, only a small scar remains as a reminder of his healing journey—and the pivotal role Picky Pony played in it.

Tanner

Tanner is another “picky pony” who served as Picky Pony inspiration. He previously refused to take his supplements and medications when mixed into his feed.

After the introduction of Picky Pony, Tanner quickly began enjoying his meals with enthusiasm and looked forward to both breakfast and dinner. Thanks to these horse supplement solutions, he has continued to thrive and has looked his best ever since.

Fancy

Fancy is another “picky pony” who played an important role in the development of Picky Pony. As one of the first horses to sample the official Picky Pony product before its launch, Fancy helped us confirm that our updated recipe maintained the taste horses love. This feedback was instrumental in creating effective horse supplement solutions that optimize packaging for long-term freshness and convenience.

Her approval was easy to recognize—once Picky Pony was added to her feed, she eagerly finished every meal, even with her supplements included. Fancy’s participation not only inspired us but also gave us the confidence that Picky Pony could help make supplement time easier for even the pickiest eaters.
